I've heard the saying: House guests are like dirty socks. After 3 days, they start to stink! We may have found ourselves in that situation! Matt wasn't able to come to Indiana the weekend that Reggie was born because he's working 24/7. He thought he'd be able to make the trip the following weekend soooooo we decided to stay
ALL WEEK!! WAHOO!!
We had
SO much fun all week!! We originally had plans to stay at Grandma's house for a few nights but that all changed when Anna woke up from her nap on the second day with a runny nose that was dripping like a faucet. Since Laura and the boys were also staying there, I made the decision to head back to Mom and Dad's. If we were the first people who gave little Reggie a cold, I would just die!! Plus, having a very active 3 a 1 yr old around isn't the most restful conditions I can think of for poor Laura!
Our week was filled with morning drives in the country, playing outside for hours,
NO schedules,
TONS of family time, ice cream at Dairy Queen, rides in the GEM car, a tour of Pioneer with Papa, dinner with some old friends, shopping, and getting
SPOILED ROTTEN!!! It doesn't get any better than that!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all the fun we had in Bloomfield! Maybe next time, we'll stay for two weeks!! :)
