Two weeks before Christmas, we got a couple inches of snow (which shuts Knoxville down for a good week)!! We were SO excited BUT Grace's school got cancelled the last two days before Christmas break AND cabin fever started to settle in!
If we couldn't get out on the roads........then why not make CHRISTMAS CANDY!!!! Grace helped me make peanut butter balls (or buckeyes to most of you), peanut butter fudge, chocolate walnut fudge (with a slight malfunction), and raspberry swirl cookies (thanks again for the recipe Amy!)!! Grace had a small problem (much like myself) with actually getting the chocolate into the pot instead of eating it all before the candy was made!
Later in the week, Erica, Jackson, and Libby invited us over to make cookies for Santa! YAY! The kids had an array of sprinkles and colored icing to choose from and, as you can see from the pictures, they didn't skimp on the sprinkles! :) The babies were overjoyed with excitement. Anna even passed out cold right on the table in the middle of the mayhem!! Next year I'm sure they'll be a part of the action! We only made it home with a couple cookies due to Grace (and maybe mommy's) taste testing! :) Thank you again to the Warmack's for having us over!!
